I agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Pink Loerie Mardi Gras Festivals Southern Africa CC and each of its respective shareholders, officers, directors, managers, employees and agents, from and against any and all losses, liabilities, injuries, damages, medical fees and any other costs and expenses which I may incur as a result of my participation in Pink Loerie Mardi Gras Festivals Southern Africa CC Pageant at any of the premises designated in the build-up to and including the pageant venue. I further agree that my participation in the Pink Loerie Mardi Gras Festivals Southern Africa CC Pageant and its activities is undertaken by myself on a purely voluntary basis and I have, in no way, been coerced to participate in such activity by any of the shareholders, officers, directors, managers, employees and agents of Pink Loerie Mardi Gras Festivals Southern Africa CC and is at my own risk. I agree not to bring the pageant or festival into disrepute at risk of disqualification. (required)

I agree and understand that by submitting my completed application does not guarantee me as a contestant or in no way whatsoever compels the selection panel of Pink Loerie Mardi Gras Festivals Southern Africa CC to select or confirm me as a contestant. I accept the judge's decision as final and binding on me and will have no recourse against the result. (required)

I accept that in the event of disqualification, prizes or its value must be returned. The first runner-up shall become the recognised title holder. (required)

I accept that the organisers/employees/judges/sponsors will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injuries suffered during the competition. • By entering this competition all contestants agree to accept the outcome and the judges decision as final. • Winners will be required to sign a contract with the organisers. • Legal action may be taken against anyone who does not comply with the rules of this competition and any participant may be disqualified in the sole discretion of the organisers. • I hereby grant permission to the representatives and/or members of Pink Loerie Mardi Gras Festivals Southern Africa CC, to take and make use of: photographs and/or digital images of me or of which I am the author of, for use in news releases and/or any publication or educational materials. These materials and releases might include printed or electronic publications, web sites or other electronic communications. I further agree that my name and identity may be revealed in descriptive text or commentary in connection with the image(s). I authorise the use of these images without compensation to me. All negatives, prints, digital reproductions so given by me, taken by or off me, shall be the property of Pink Loerie Mardi Gras Festivals Southern Africa CC, • I consent not to contact with media, advertisers, confirmed sponsors or any mention of the pageant or festival without the knowledge and consent of the members of Pink Loerie Mardi Gras Festivals Southern Africa CC. • I further consent to uphold the good name and reputation of pageant and festival at all times and to conduct myself in such a manner as not to cause harm or damage to the pageant and festival or bring the pageant and festival or trademark's name into disrepute. I accept that 1. Prizes are not exchangeable for a cash value. 2. The organisers/pageant and festival will not be held responsible for any loss or damage whatsoever related to the competition before or after the competition or for whatever reason. Entrants enter the competition at own risk. 3. Contestants who do not comply with these rules will automatically be disqualified. 4. Contestants give the organisers full consent to check any personal credit, annual or any other records. 5. The pageant and festival will at all times endeavour that sponsors deliver prizes. However, Pink Loerie Mardi Gras Festivals Southern Africa CC cannot be held responsible for any prizes not delivered or not delivered on time by sponsors. 6. The directors reserve the right to disqualify any contestant who brings the pageant and festival into disrepute in whatever way, refuses to carry out instructions or do not abide by the rules, stated here and/or stated during and after the competition. I agree and understand that all prizes or the value thereof will have to be returned by me in the event of me being disqualified due to my behaviour and/or actions which are contrary to the rules of the competition or if I withdraw from the competition.
